The Deschutes County Access to Justice Committee seeks to offer people improved access to attorneys, to court documents and to information. David Rosen, Personal Injury Attorney at High Desert Law and Access to Justice Committee chair, joins Think Out Loud to talk about a new program at the Redmond Public Library. This program provides people easy access to their court records on library computers with just a library card.
As of time of this post, access to court records has been expanded to the local libraries in Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, Sun River, and Bend. Listen to Think Out Loud at the link below, to learn why this program is an important step in the right direction for rural Oregon.
